Behold The New ICAEW Logo!
The new ICAEW logo officially goes live on 3rd April. However, it is already displayed on the ICAEW website homepage and twitter account. There is also a video on the ICAEW website about the re-branding, that features water.
The logo still features Economia (the Greek goddess of money), except this time her pincers look a tad more "assertive".
It will take the ICAEW several days to update there site pages etc; as such there will be a hiatus in newswires next week.
I dare say the membership of the ICAEW will have some admin to conduct as well, in order to update their websites, cards, stationary etc.

No Name Change For ICAEW
In response to queries about the forthcoming rebranding exercise, an ICAEW spokesperson told CCH Daily:
'We can confirm we are updating our new brand, the first major brand refresh since 2005, and we will unveil it in April. We won’t be changing our name and will continue to be known as ICAEW.'Would loyal readers care to reveal how much the rebranding will cost them (wrt letterheads, cards etc)?

ICAEW Making Tax Digital Resource Centre
Those of you who will end up having to cope with HMRC's half arsed MTD plans (that's all of us by the way!) may find the ICAEW's MTD resource centre a modest start.
"Making Tax Digital (MTD) is the most fundamental change to the administration of the UK tax system for a generation. The way in which businesses, landlords, individuals and tax agents interact with HMRC is being revolutionised.Good luck everyone!
As we move from consultation to education and implementation, the latest guidance and analysis is available from ICAEW experts to support members and the wider public."
